Day 2

MC here again,

Here is a picture of Phil after his walkabout.

All your kind words and thoughts give us strength to make it through the toughest days. Phil spent yesterday sleeping off the drugs given to him for N & V. At times his dreams worked their way into our conversation, sounding a little strange but he was aware he was confused. Today was a slightly better day. He was able to "force" himself to walk around the grounds outside for a while and looked more alert for a while considering they have him on 5 different anti-emetics drugs. Anorexia has set in and smells and food and drinks are unappetizing to him but the N & V persist, darn it. Bypassing all this doesn't seem to be an option, unfortunately. His counts are going down, as expected. Everything seems par for the course.

He continues to lay low and looks at the poster of us flying in his Comanche that Lorna made for him that's on the wall. He can't wait until he can be airbound again.
